We schedule our classes based on your schedule. So many folks are so busy, we don't want to leave anyone out. So, if you want a Beginning Knit class call us and we will set it up for you ASAP! We teach all areas of knitting, crochet, and weaving. We also teach particular patterns. For instance if you have a lace pattern that you are dying to make but just cant do by yourself, call us and we will set you up with a instructor for a private lesson. We want everyone to be able to take classes on what ever they need. Below is a list of some of the classes we teach. Call us and we will schedule you as soon as possible, at your convenience!

Beginning Hat Class

This is wonderful class to take your new knitting skills up a notch! We will be making a slouchy hat, and you will use circular needles, and double pointed needles. Learn about decreases, and switching from circular to DPNS, two separate needles, or magic loop. What a great addition to your knitting repertoire. You can make gifts and the patterns and colorways are endless! Come and join us for this fun adventure into hat making. Cost for the class is $65 (2) one hour sessions. Supplies should be purchased at the beginning of class!

Beginning Weaving Class

In this class, you will learn rigid heddle weaving. You learn on an Ashford 28" knitter's loom, which are available for sale. You learn to direct warp the loom, and complete a woven project of your choice. This is a one day class. The project you will be making is a small towel/car seat blanket/placemat or table runner.  It begins at 10:00am, and is over at 4:00pm. Lunch is included! This class is scheduled once a month, but we can schedule for you personally at your convenience. Limit four students. Cost for the course is $150 and does not include yarn.

Beginning Knitting!

This is the 101 of knitting! We will teach you the ins and outs of knitting, including the knit and purl stitch,cast on, bind off, and how to recognize knitting mistakes.v.Helpful tips to make knitting a breeze will be covered, including how to use lifelines.,This class is available to all. We love group parties, Mom and Me classes, or small children’s groups. We do try to keep the class size down to no more than 4, so that individual attention is available. Call ahead to reserve your spot. Supplies are purchased at the beginning of the class. Cost for the class is $85.00 for two-2 hour sessions, held about one week apart. We are flexible, and can schedule at your convenience also. Jump on the knitting train for a lifetime of creativity!

Tink Class!

This class is designed to show you how to correct your mistakes." Tink" is knit backwards! Our instructor will show you mistakes and then show you how to correct them. Yarn overs are perfect for making a nice lacey hole, but when there isn't supposed to be a yarn over its not so nice! How about a dropped stitch? How to put it back on the needle correctly, garter or stockinette! Adding in new yarn correctly will be shown. Any thing you can think of to ask will be answered! This class is one-to two hours, depending on the amount of questions and help to be given.Class fee is $45.00.

Beginning Tatting

This class is for those who want to learn the art of tatting! Tatting is all about knots! We have a instructor who is phenomenal , and has doing this craft for many years. You will be using shuttles, which can be purchased at Yarn on Youree. This class will be for several sessions, in two hour increments. This is a beautiful heirloom craft to learn!

Beginning Lace for Knitters

Do you long to be knitting beautiful delicate lace, but just don't think you have the skills? If you have been doing the knit stitch and purl stitch and can recognize your stitches when you see them you qualify for this class! You will be making a beautiful, beginner lace scarf. Supplies will be purchased at the time of class from Yarn on Youree. You will also need correct size of needles. This will also be a two hour class. Class cost is $45.|

Introduction to Crochet!

Learn basic crochet in this class. You will be making a simple project. You will learn the chain stitch, single crochet, and double crochet, how to slip a stitch, and how to read simple crochet instructions. This is a one session,class, lasting 2 hours. Class cost is $65, supplies not included, but need to be purchased from Yarn on Youree. One crochet hook, and your choice of worsted weight yarn, will be purchased at the beginning of the class.

Magic Loop: Toe up Socks

Magic Loop! It is not really magic but it sure seems like it when the process of knitting in a really tight space becomes so doable! You can apply this technique to so many things. If you have never knit a sock, or would like to learn how to use Magic Loop to knit two socks at one time, this is the class for you!  This class will be for at least 3 sessions and cost is $85. Supplies must be bought from Yarn on Youree.
